I acknowledge that there are downsides to being neurodivergent, but there are many positives as well. Your struggles are valid, but you also have an opportunity to see your neurodivergence through a positive lens, and see how that can be to your advantage on your fitness journey.

  • Nutrition Guidance for Neurodivergents

    • This is not a one-size-fits-all meal plan. I’m not here to give you rigid rules to follow for your nutrition. What works for neurotypicals, probably won’t work for you. What works for a short-term fad diet will definitely not last a lifetime. Here, you will get nutrition guidance that actually works long-term for neurodivergents.

  • Posture & Form

    • Posture and form are the foundation to moving properly and building a body that is strong and pain-free. When you have a strong and pain-free body, you can change your body composition, enjoy your daily activities more, and enjoy your special interests more.

  • A neurodivergent is someone who has a brain that functions, processes information, or develops differently from what people call a “neurotypical.”

    On your fitness journey, each trait can be taught/programmed in you as a negative/deficit, but there are also many positives and superpowers associated with each trait that can be utilized on your fitness journey.     My functional training methods are primarily focused around helping you gain strength with good form and posture to reduce your pain and increase your quality of life. The goals is to help you become the HEALTHIEST version of yourself.

    Weight/fat loss is a byproduct of training more and eating to fuel your goals (for those who hold excess body fat). Every individual has different goals and different needs to become the healthiest versions of themselves. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s.

I give my opinions and views about the different neurodivergent traits and how they can be viewed as a deficit or a superpower on your fitness journey towards longevity. Not every scenario will be applicable to every neurodivergent and may not account for the support needs you have as a neurodivergent.
